Our Rooms
Each of our modern rooms are fully carpeted, have their own ensuite bathroom, bedsitting area, security system, and most have balconies.
The building has swipe card access and CCTV security with visual display intercoms in every unit. Each unit also equipped with 24 hour emergency nurse call system.
Each unit contains the following:
- Bedsit area, ensuite bathroom and most have a balcony
- Built-in wardrobe
- Cream lined curtains
- Visual display intercom security
- Each room has two nurse call units (one in the bathroom & one in bedroom) as well as a personal pendant
- Linen, towels and Laundry bag.

You are encouraged to make the unit as individual as you like. Suggested items you might like to bring might include:
- Your own bed (must have lockable castors)
- Small bar fridge
- Television Set
- Small cabinet/wall unit, chest of drawers or bookshelf
- Recliner Chair
- Photos, pictures etc (can be mounted by our maintenance staff)
- Your own personal pillow and doona
Please bear in mind that over-cluttering the room will make moving around for yourself, visitors and staff more difficult and possibly dangerous.

Common Rooms
All rooms are located on levels 1 & 2 of Dougherty Apartments.
Level 1 also includes the Dining and Main Lounge Rooms and Therapy Room. Adjoining the Dining & Lounge Rooms is the Roof Garden. This area is furnished for you and your visitors to enjoy the outdoors. Offices for the Director of Care, Health & Lifestyle and Care Staff are also on Level 1.
Level 2 includes a lounge with puzzle table,microwave and fridge as well as a small library and reading area.Level 2 also contains the doctors office and another roof garden.
